Rocky Top Hospitality Announces Cooking Classes

RALEIGH, N.C. – Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, has announced that the restaurant will host a Seafood 101 cooking class at Red Room Tapas Lounge, located at 510 S. Glenwood Ave. from 10:00 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Aug. 25. The class, which will be led by Michael Dean's executive chef, Marshall Smith, will teach how to clean and cut tuna, scallops, and Hawaiian hebi, as well as allow attendees to learn how to distinguish the differences between oysters from three different seas. The cost for the class is $50 per person, and 10% of all proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
