California Dreamin’ (endless), by Cristian Nemescu was selected at the Toronto Film Festival!

After winning the Big Prize, Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival, Nemescu’s movie, California Dreamin’ (endless), was also selected at the Toronto International Film Festival, another top film festivals in the world. The movie will be hosted by the Contemporary World Cinema section which gathers the best movies, premieres and prize-winning film selections from a variety of film festivals.


With a strong cast both International
and Romanian (Armand Assante, Razvan Vasilescu, Jamie Elman, Maria Dinulescu, Ion Sapdaru, Andi Vasluianu, Alex Margineanu) and a fascinating story, California Dreamin’ (endless) still calls for hundreds of people at the Romanian theaters, selections at various film festivals and a lot of prizes.

The movie is the only Romanian feature selected for the competition of the Anonymous Film Festival taking place in Romania, in the Danube Delta (13-19 august) and the film is also going to the International Film Festival in Hong Kong (3-26 august) and the Sarajevo Film Festival (17-25 august).

Some of the other prizes won by the Romanian production so far are: Golden Falcon Special Prize at the Ibiza Film festival, Jury’s Prize at the Rabat Film Festival, Iris Award for the Best Movie at the European Film Festival in Brussels and the Special Prize of the Jury awarded for the script at the Torun Film Festival, in Poland.

In the Romanian theaters, with more than 20.000 visitors, the movie California Dreamin’ (endless) can it still be viewed in Iasi and soon in Bacau.
