You have said it a million times: “I can write a better film than this!!” Now it’s time to put your keyboard where your mouth is. Contestants have until September 15th, 2007 to submit a one-page proposal outlining their videogame-to film adaptation idea. Include as much information as possible like storyline, characters, locations, knock us dead!All entries must be in submitted by Word or PDF email attachment to Gamerprime@generationgamerz.com for consideration by a distinguished panel which includes:
Uwe Boll, German filmmaker and director of videogame films Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, Postal and more.
Mark Borchardt, Milwaukee film icon, actor, writer, director of such films as Coven, Scare Me and was the subject of a 1999 award winning documentary American Movie.
Also on the panel are Thomas Balistreri and Christophor Rick, Co-Editors and founders of Generation: Gamerz,LLC and Wayne Clingman, film producer and organizer of the ICFLM Film Festival.
The Grand Prize winner will be announced September 30th, 2007and receive: Two full event passes to ICFLM 2007, award presentation on stage by Mr. Boll and Mr. Borchardt, lunch with Mr. Boll and Borchardt, ICFLM 2007 T-shirts signed by some of the announced festival guests, and a G:G T-Shirt.
