Vicki White named Executive Director of BCI Foundation White brings 15 yars experience in non-profit, development

August 20, 2007: ST. CHARLES, Mo. — The BCI Foundation, an organization that helps BCI continue to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people in St. Charles County with developmental disabilities, recently named Vicki White Executive Director.In her new position, White will be responsible for securing the long-term financial stability of the organization and its employees. In doing so, she will oversee development plans, fundraising efforts, special events and grant writing.
“White’s experience in the non-profit arena will help the BCI Foundation ensure the long-term support of our employees,” Chuck Blossom, Executive Director of BCI, said.
White, a Certified Fund Raising Executive, CFRE, has 15 years experience in the field, working with St. Louis organizations including Neighborhood Houses and Metropolitan School. Her CFRE certification was accredited based on her knowledge and experience of philanthropy standards, practices, and ethics.
“I am excited to take on a new challenge for such a commendable philanthropic organization,” White said. “I look forward to working with the BCI Foundation’s Board of Directors to secure the financial longevity of the organization.”
White will work with and report to the recently named Board of Directors, including Lorna Frahm, John Lauer, Doug Steinmeyer, Al Bacher, and Jim Baker. Board Officers are Matt Fairless, President; Mike Weeks, Vice President; Sue Gamache, Secretary; and Jim Barrett, Treasurer.
BCI provides meaningful employment opportunities for more than 200 individuals with developmental disabilities in St. Charles County. The organization’s new CEO program will provide community-based employment opportunities for disabled individuals throughout St. Charles County.
