Chicago Office Technology Group will be taking part in the 8th Annual Eric and Kathy 36 Hour Radiothon. The Mix will broadcast live from the lobby of Children’s Memorial Hospital on August 17th and 18th to raise funds for the hospital’s pediatric research, patient care and education. The Radiothon has contributed over $10 million in the past seven years and COTG is honored to participate in the event. COTG is sponsoring the 36 Hour Radiothon as a way to support the community. COTG will station volunteers at the Radiothon to answer phones and collect donations for the Children’s Memorial Hospital. In addition to volunteer efforts, COTG is sponsoring the Web Cam which will broadcast the Radiothon on the Internet.
Top radio personalities from The Mix will interview patients, parents, doctors and other staff members throughout the broadcast to share their heartfelt stories with all listeners, including a personal touch from COTG. The Web Cam will air an audio and visual testimonial of Cameron Briggs Dominick, recent patient of Children’s Memorial Hospital and son of COTG employee Matt Dominick. Every viewer and listener of the Web Cam can hear Cameron’s touching story (www.wtmx.com).
“COTG is proud to support Children’s Memorial Hospital and the rest of the community,” said Phil Lampugnano, President, Chicago Office Technology Group. “We care about helping our future, our children—Chicago’s children. The Mix’s Radiothon has benefited more than 90,000 children, and this year COTG will help raise awareness for their cause and encourage other companies to participate in the future.”
