Cover Art Preview Posted for Gail Z. Martin's The Blood King

Solaris Books released the cover art for Gail Z. Martin's upcoming novel, The Blood King. The artwork debuted on www.ChroniclesOfTheNecromancer.com. The cover is the work of noted fantasy artist Michael Komarck. The Blood King is the sequel to the bestselling debut novel The Summoner, and is slated for release in February 2008. It is the second book in the Chronicles of the Necromancer series.
The Summoner, the first title in the series, sold through three printings in its first six months after its release. It remained on the Book Sense bestseller list for over 12 weeks, and garnered high praise from reviewers and readers. More books are planned in The Chronicles of The Necromancer series, and Martin says she is already working on the third installment.
The Summoner was the launch title release by Solaris Books, the new a UK-based fantasy and science fiction imprint from BL Publishing, the publishing division of industry-leading tabletop games company, Games Workshop.
The Chronicles of The Necromancer fantasy adventure series is distributed in the U.S. by Simon & Schuster. Ms. Martin is handled by the Ethan Ellenberg Literary Agency in New York City.
