The editor of SPATE magazine also known as MadMan is a popular rap artist that won "The Faces Of The Crowd" showcase on Aug 7 2007. The showcase is most known for discovering Chrisette Michele who is now signed to DefJam and released her first album. MadMan had 5 dancers and a hype man. The showcase took place at the Remote Lounge in manhattan. His high energy performance earned extremely loud applause. The crowd seemed if they were waiting for him to come on.
