“And then there’s New Zealand local Lou Truyens, who has been able to build a profitable local business with one of our onsite shredding trucks. His business is called Mobile Onsite Shredding and he’s got enough work to keep him and a driver busy in an incredibly short time,” Mr Watson said.

“I had zero clients when I started, but now I have almost 200 clients with at least 400 bins dotted around the city – and I service that all from just one truck, with one driver,” explains Mr Lou Truyens, owner of Mobile Onsite Shredding in Wellington, New Zealand.

Privacy laws are strengthening all over the world and the ability to shred a companies documents – including CD’s, computer tapes and uniforms – onsite at the customer’s premises will become fundamental to the way document destruction businesses operate.
