BCI Makes Way for New Board Members volunteer time and resources to support individuals with disabilities

August 10, 2007: ST. CHARLES, Mo. — BCI, an organization that provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, recently welcomed a new board.The Operating Board works to provide general oversight for BCI, a nonprofit organization that provides contract packaging services for businesses across the country.
The new officers for the Board of Directors are:
Doug Steinmeyer, President. Steinmeyer is a Vice-President at First National Bank of St. Louis in O'Fallon.
Julie Bartch, Vice President. Bartch is Director of Administration for Duckett Creek, an organization that protects local streams and creeks while also helping foster area growth and economic development.
Rich Hollander, Treasurer. Hollander is President of St. Charles-based MicroLogic, a company that provides small businesses with information technology solutions.
Brian Watkins, Secretary. Watkins works for Wachovia Securities.
Other members include Matt Fairless, Gloria Ehll, John Lauer, Gerry Wiegmann, David Cosby, Herbert Tschannen, Dale Poslosky, Karen Blessman and Dave Bazzell.
“The Board helps ensure we continue to provide meaningful employment opportunities as well as superior contract packaging services for our partners across the country,” Chuck Blossom, Executive Director of BCI, said.
BCI’s Board of Directors for the past term included Matt Fairless, President; Dave Cosby, Vice President; Doug Steinmeyer, Secretary and Julie Barch, Treasurer. Members of the Board included Rich Hollander, Gloria Ehll, Gerry Wiegmann, Herbert Tschannen, Brian Watkins, Dale Poslosky, Karen Blessman and Dave Bazzell.
“As we welcome a new Board, we want to extend our gratitude to those who have been serving BCI in its past term,” Blossom said. “They have been instrumental in supplementing the operations management of BCI.”
BCI provides meaningful employment opportunities for more than 200 individuals with mental and physical disabilities in St. Charles County. The organization’s new CEO program will provide community-based employment opportunities for disabled individuals throughout St. Charles County. BCI and its employees help both local and national companies compete internationally by providing contract packaging services.
