DSA Names Director of Corporate Communications

Frances R. Pierce, President and CEO, Data Systems Analysts (DSA), a provider of global information technology solutions and security services to government and industry, announced that Ms. Lexley Bender has been promoted to Director of Corporate Communications.

Ms. Bender joined DSA in 2005, as the Executive Assistant to Ms. Pierce and Office Manager of the company’s Philadelphia-based headquarters. As such, she supervised executive programs, corporate administrative staff, facility and vendor management.

In her expanded role as Director, Ms. Bender will champion all media relations strategies, including press releases, industry speaking engagements, trade shows and other general inquiries. She will oversee production, layout and editing of all internal and external publications, as well as promotional materials. Ms. Bender’s group will also manage the company’s website, community relations, special events, and will provide support for marketing and proposal efforts for government contracts.

For 15 years prior to joining DSA, Ms. Bender was a self-employed consultant for publishing, promotions, and graphic design clients, where she produced market research campaigns and promotional presentations. She also conducted freelance editing projects, as well as produced numerous newsletters and print communications.

Previously, Ms. Bender was an account executive, maintaining existing IT accounts and developing new business opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ms. Bender studied Business Management at West Virginia University and Rutgers State University of NJ.
