Canadian Recording Artist Shawn Hlookoff to Perform at the Ford Amphitheatre

After further demand, Canada’s hottest new singer/songwriter Shawn Hlookoff is set to perform at the Ford Amphitheatre to benefit the Guitar Center Music Foundation Sunday, August 26, 2007, www.fordamphitheatre.org . He can be seen online at http://www.hlookoff.com or http://myspace.com/hlookoff.

Shawn has been creating quite a buzz in the music industry. This will mark Shawn’s fourth visit to Los Angeles this summer. At the beginning of June, Shawn made his US debut, showcasing his solo show at Genghis Cohen. Last month Shawn headlined at Los Angeles’ historic music club, The Mint. More recently, Shawn also performed over a dozen private showcases for various record labels, management companies and music entertainment executives.

Originally from Slocan British Columbia, Shawn has “exploded” on the indie music scene this past year. His soulful lyrics and his astounding falsetto connect the audience with his music and will leave you craving more.
