THE 6TH ANNUAL AARON KRANITZ MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Thursday, August 4, 2007-Akron, Ohio-The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD) Foundation is hosting its Sixth Annual Aaron Kranitz Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, August 13, 2007 at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. This event is both a tribute to Aaron, who passed away from CJD, and a fundraiser. The proceeds from the tournament will benefit the CJD HelpLine, the only CJD HelpLine in the United States, The Annual Family Conference in Washington D.C, and The CJD Foundation Family Discretionary Fund.

This year, the Foundation has secured Firestone’s North Course and they are hard at work to provide an even more spectacular event than last year. Sign-in begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by lunch with a shot gun start at 1:00 p.m. The day ends with a cocktail reception, auction and an awards presentation. Ted Walter and Bob Littman are honorary co-chairmen. Doug Dieken, the voice of the Cleveland Browns, will return as celebrity auctioneer.
