Adrian Flux scores in Auto Express survey

Adrian Flux Insurance is the most improved company in the 2007 Auto Express survey of the UK's best and worst insurers. An "unprecedented rise up the charts" was how the magazine described Flux's performance in storming from a lowly 40 out of 45 to number 17.

Flux was praised for its improvements across the board - although the magazine admitted that part of the reason for the success was the survey's introduction of a 'value for money' rating - indicating that Flux does very well in the low pricing stakes.

And the survey also highlighted Flux's popularity in specialist areas - such as modified cars and classics. The editorial commented: "Adrian Flux claims its staff are genuine enthusiasts based in the UK - and you [the readers] tell us they know what they are talking about when it comes to specialist car insurance."

One reader commented that Flux was "one of the few companies that would provide cover" for his modified car. Another praised Flux's "efficient handling" of his claim.

"Obviously we're chuffed to bits to have done so well," says Flux's Operations Director Gerry Bucke. "We're less than a single percentage point outside the top ten, which shows just how well we've done in the last year. Let's hope we can keep it up for another 12 months!"
