Successful conference hosted by Dun & Bradstreet on Dynamics of Infrastructure & Real Estate markets: The Financing Perspective” at Mumbai” dated August 1st, 2007

Looking at the growth in the infrastructure and real estate market and the emergence of new related products and players, Dun & Bradstreet, the world’s leading provider of business information, knowledge & insight, hosted a series of conferences focusing on this sector titled “Dynamics of Infrastructure & Real Estate markets: The Financing Perspective” across India in 2007. The first among this series was held on June 22nd in New Delhi and the second one was held on August 1st in Taj President Mumbai. The focus of this conference will be on the immense investment & growth opportunity that this sector offers. This conference discussed the following issues:

The first session was presented by Dr. Manoj Vaish, President & CEO – India, Dun & Bradstreet, Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman, Hiranandani Developers Ltd. & Mr. Nakul Patil, Chairman, CIDCO on the growth prospects in these sectors in Maharashtra & India. The second session focused on Infrastructure and a presentation by Mr. Parvez Umrigar, Managing Director, Gammon Infrastructure & Mr. Luis Miranda, President & CEO, IDFC Private Equity. The last session focused on real estate and presentations on taxation & legal issues relevant to this sector by Mr. Gautam Mehra, Partner, PwC and Mr. Nishith Desai, Founder, Nishith Desai Associates. Apart from these two, there were presentations on technology by Mr. U. G. Krishna from Wipro and on valuation by Mr. Kaushal Shah from Kotak Mahindra Capital. The last session was moderated by Mr. S.
