Answers Systems Inc. Launches Foodservice Industry’s First Electronic Claim Processing and Verification System

After two yeas of beta testing and development, Answers Systems has created an eClaim(SM) system that is fully integrated into their ContractPro® Trade-spend management system and provides new levels of speed and accuracy.

During the eClaim beta period, Answers Systems has found that nearly 30% of all electronic claims contain errors that can significantly impact their client’s profitability. “That’s why we’ve taken the steps to make sure that every line of every claim is verified against the manufacturers’ agreements with their distributors and major operators,” said Hilton. Through their eClaim system, Answers Systems can now work even more quickly to reconcile any claim errors found in order to achieve clients’ tough audit standards.

Answers Systems’ claim processing system accommodates a broad range of electronic formats, including EDI 867. The company also processes traditional paper claims, which are converted to electronic format and then verified, reconciled and transmitted electronically to their clients’ ERP.
