BCI Foundation Makes Way for New Board and Executive Director

August 1, 2007: ST. CHARLES, Mo. — The BCI Foundation, an organization that helps BCI continue to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities, recently welcomed a new board.The mission of the BCI Foundation is to secure financial support for the disabled adult employees of BCI, to directly improve the lives of disabled employees and to secure the long-term financial stability of the organization.
The new officers for the Board of Directors for the BCI Foundation are:
Matt Fairless, President. Fairless is an attorney with St. Charles-based Hazelwood & Weber LLC.
Mike Weeks, Vice President. Weeks is an attorney with Rudy D. Beck & Associates, P.C.
Sue Gamache, Secretary. Gamache works for St. Charles Foot Care Center.
Jim Barrett, Treasurer. Barrett is from Stifel Bank & Trust.
Other members of the Board include Past President Lorna Frahm, Allen Bacher, Jim Baker, John Lauer and Doug Steinmeyer.
Vicki White, CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) recently joined the BCI Foundation as the Executive Director.
“I am honored to work with such dedicated Board members to raise funds to help BCI continue to provide meaningful work for disabled individuals at our St. Charles headquarters and throughout St. Charles County through our Community Employment Opportunity (CEO) program,” White said. “The Board gives their time, talent, energy and resources to ensure the future stability of our organization.”
BCI Foundation’s Board of Directors for the past term included Lorna Frahm, President; John Lauer, Vice President; Doug Steinmeyer, Secretary and Jim Barrett, Treasurer. Members of the Board included Al Bacher, Jim Baker, Matt Fairless, Sue Gamache and Mike Weeks.
“As we welcome a new Board, we want to extend our gratitude to those who have been serving the BCI Foundation this past year. They have been instrumental in continuing to provide financial stability for BCI,” White said.
BCI provides meaningful employment opportunities for more than 200 individuals with mental and physical disabilities in St. Charles County. The organization’s new CEO program will provide community-based employment opportunities for disabled individuals throughout St. Charles County.
