Popular NYC Indie Band Making UK Debut

Popular veteran NYC indie band, The Baghdaddios will be making their UK debut at the Rebellion Festival in Blackpool on August 10th. From there they are scheduled to play at The Eclipse Rock Club @ The Brief in Croydon and The Marquee Club in Hertford. Subsequent dates are to be announced.

The band has been a fixture on the New York indie scene for well over 15 years, sharing stage time with such legendary and signed talent as Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith), Buddy Cage (Grateful Dead), Bobby Steele (The Misfits), Patti Rothberg (EMI North America), and Fates Warning (Metal Blade Records). Having played nearly every venue in their native NY from The Hammerstein Ballroom to regular performances at the now closed but fabled CBGB club with its rich history of legendary punk acts, the band has had their music played on radio the world over. They have been featured annually at the New York City Marathon for the past decade and have played several high-profile music festivals in North America, such as North By Northeast, in Toronto, Canada.

The Baghdaddios will be staying at the One Aldwych in London and will be available for interviews From August 11 through the 15th.
