Louisiana Attorney Burton LeBlanc Elected to American Association for Justice’s Executive Committee

BATON ROUGE, La. – Attorney Burton LeBlanc, of counsel to Dallas’ Baron & Budd, P.C., and a name partner in Baton Rouge-based LeBlanc & Waddell, LLP, has been elected to the Executive Committee for the American Association for Justice.Mr. LeBlanc, who previously served on the AAJ’s Board of Governors, was selected to help lead the 52,000-member organization during the recent annual convention in Chicago July 14-18.
"My practice is dedicated to obtaining justice, fairness, equal access for people and companies who have been hurt by the misdeeds of others,” says Mr. LeBlanc. “The American Association for Justice stands for those same values, which is why I'm honored to help lead this vital organization."
Following his election to the Executive Committee, Mr. LeBlanc announced his candidacy for AAJ Parliamentarian. The election will be held at the group’s 2008 annual convention in Philadelphia.
Mr. LeBlanc has a deep and longstanding commitment to the AAJ. He has served on the group’s National Finance Committee, PAC Committee and Leaders Forum. Additionally, he has earned the group’s Wiedemann Wysocki National Finance Council Award for his commitment to the legal profession and his efforts to improve the civil justice system.
