Local businessman elected president of the National Ticket Brokers Association

LAS VEGAS– Tom Patania, the President and CEO of Select A Ticket, headquartered in Riverdale, NJ, was recently elected President of the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB)(www.natb.org). Tom has been an avid member of the NATB since it was founded in 1994 and Select A Ticket, which has storefronts both in Riverdale and at Garden State Plaza; is a founding member of the organization.Prior to being elected President of the NATB, Patania served on the Board of Directors as a representative of the Northeast Region, as well as a Secretary to the most recent slate of NATB officers. During his term in office Patania plans to work with brokers from around the county to double the NATB’s current membership to more than 400 brokers, as well as organizing the brokers into a more cohesive unit, culminating in one large trade show with more than 1,000 attendees.
“The NATB has been an integral part of bringing legitimacy to the ticket industry and the organization has been central to the way that Select A Ticket has grown over the years,” says Patania. He continued, “As President, I plan to continue to develop the organization and continue and expand upon the efforts that the NATB has developed over the past 13 years.”
