BlueStar Distributes Partner Tech PT-5700 and PT-6900 Fan-Free All-in-One POS Terminals

Florence, KY — July 21, 2007—BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for Auto ID, Point-of-Sale, Mobility and RFID products, is announcing its distribution of the Partner Tech PT-5700 and PT-6900 Fan Free All-in-One POS Terminals.

The Partner Tech PT-5700 is a second generation product that features upgrades and improvements from the PT-5500, including a larger hard drive, faster processor, and more memory. The Partner Tech PT-5700 Fan-Free All-in-One POS Terminal is designed to meet the harsh environments of the hospitality, retail and banking industries.

Representing the next generation of intelligent point-of-sale terminals offered by Partner Tech, the PT-5700 is equipped with a low-power VIA Eden CPU and a large 15-in. LCD touchscreen. Together with a high viewing angle of 60 degrees, an adjustable screen, and a small footprint, the PT-5700 can be located anywhere—including wall-mounted applications.

The Partner Tech PT-6900 also includes all of the above features, but is replacing the PT-6800 which was not fan free. In addition, the PT-6900 model features an Intel Celeron processor versus the PT-5700’s VIA processor. “The PT-5700 and PT-6900 represents Partner Tech's second and third generation of Fan-Free All-In-One POS terminals. Standard features offered with Partner Tech’s newest terminals include 512 MB of RAM, 10/100/1000 network cards, and 80 GB HDD are all standard features offered with Partner Tech's newest terminals that resellers require to meet the standards of today’s software applications and the harsh hospitality and retail environments," says Keith Schroer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Partner Tech.
