American Joe Takes Part in Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball

Fort Worth, TX – July 21, 2007 – The Sixth Annual Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game took place on June 23rd and it was more all star than your everyday All Star game. There were athletes and celebrities as far as the eye could see at this event which benefited two charities, The Heroes Foundation and The Mike Modano Foundation. All American apparel company American Joe supported the heroic cause as part of their “For The Hero in All of Us,” initiative.Joining in the baseball tournament from the world of sports was Dallas Stars' center Mike Modano, as was his left wing teammate Brenden Morrow. The Dallas Cowboys represented with safety Roy Williams and linebacker DeMarcus Ware. The NBA All-Star and LA Clippers forward Elton Brand showed his skills off the court and on the diamond.
Straight from Hollywood came Bryan Greenberg, fresh off of the first successful season of ABC's October Road, Josh Henderson (Edie's troublemaking nephew on Desperate Housewives), acting brothers Geoff Stults (October Road and Wedding Crashers) and George Stults (7th Heaven), another set of acting brothers, Kyle Massey (That's So Raven) and Christopher Massey (Zoey 101), and even actors Evan Jones, Rob Brown, Amaury Nolasco and Willa Ford, the Dancing with the Stars star who sang the national anthem. The Counting Crows kicked off the event with a night before party at the House of Blues in Dallas.

The Red Sox finally won out 9-7 over the Black Sox in the 2007 Reebok Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game, and Josh Henderson and Troy Haugen won MVP status.
