FATAL1TY CONGRATULATES JOHAN “toxjq” QUICK ON QUAKE 4 WSVG DALLAS WIN

(Calabasas, CA) –Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel and the Free Players Organization (FPO) congratulates Johan “toxjq” Quick on his dominating win at the World Series of Video Games’ Dallas tournament in the Quake 4 competition. The 23 year old Swedish professional defeated Alexey “Cypher” Yanusheuski from Belarus in the upper bracket finals with a 2-0 score and pocketed the $5,250 first place money. Toxjq lost only 1 map during the entire tournament. As the #1 seed, Quick drew a bye in the first round before his win of 5 straight matches landed him the Championship.

“I felt very confident going into this tournament after a couple weeks of focused training,” said Toxjq. “I think I’m back on track and excited about the competitions ahead.” Fatal1ty expressed his confidence in Toxjq’s ability to maintain the dominance he showed during the 2006 WSVG season. “Johan is a dedicated and highly competitive professional, and you always expect him to be there at the end,” stated Wendel.

Fellow Free Player and Toxjq countryman Magnus “fojji” Olsson placed fourth in the competition, winning $1,200.
