New Studio Opens for Pet Cremation Urns as Art Form

Alexandra Koiv's hand crafted pet urn business, Alex in Welderland's Custom Pet Urns, has moved into the historic Brewery Art Colony. Located just east of downtown Los Angeles, the Art Colony houses over 300 artist galleries and is the home of the biannual Brewery Artwalk, drawing in more than 8,000 visitors at each Walk. Now visitors to the Brewery Art Colony can also have the unusual option of purchasing a hand crafted custom memorial urn, while they are shopping for their other fine art work.

Alex in Welderland's Custom Pet Urns brings the new concept of fine art to pet cremation urns, mirroring the changes in the pet supply industry, with it's rapid growth and the changing perspective of pets as 'owned' to pets as 'family'.
