Los Angeles – Charles "Lucky" Luciano was a Sicilian-American mobster who is considered to be the father of modern organized crime. For the better part of 50 years, many have tried to tell his story based on the what the general public knew about him, however, no one will have been able to tell his story in its entirety and on the big screen the way Full Force Films will. They have chosen the Luciano story to be their flagship production as the subject matter is not only explosive but also timely what with the huge success of The Sopranos and many other films in recent past based on the seductive world of organized crime. The life of Italian born Salvatore Lucania, who changed his name to Charles “Lucky” Luciano when his family immigrated to the states in the early 1900s, was a controversial one. Most of what we know is that he was extremely influential in the underworld as well as in the political world, making him one of the most powerful men of his time. Despite what we already know, there is still so much left to be told about this titan and what better way then through film. Full Force intends to show another side of Luciano by presenting his full life story although they will most likely focus rise to power and will uncover the story that hasn’t been told.
The Luciano biopic has been the result of over 10 years of development and research for the Full Force Films team. Timing as well as the right attachment of talent has been crucial in making this project a success not only for the company but in order for the Luciano story to be told in the best possible way. Full Force is dedicated to making their first film a mega hit right out of the box and will do so with the star power that is being rallied for it.
