RIZZO SERVICES NAMED OFFICIAL WASTE HAULER IN ROYAL OAK

WARREN, Mich. (July 18, 2007) – Rizzo Services is proud to announce it is the new waste removal services provider for the City of Royal Oak. The contract, won in a competitive-bid process through the Southeastern Oakland County Resource Recovery Authority (SOCRRA), means that Rizzo Services is the waste removal provider for Royal Oak for the next decade. The ten-year contract began on July 1, 2007.

Rizzo Services will be responsible for residential, commercial and municipal waste services for approximately 30,000 waste hauling accounts, involving curbside, front-end, roll-off, open-top and trailer customers. In addition to Royal Oak, Rizzo Services also is the waste hauler of record for Fraser, Hamtramck, Warren, Mt. Clemens, Bloomfield Township, New Haven and Chesterfield Township.
