Kansas Woman Kayaks for Cancer Research

Christina Glauner, of Lawrence, KS, is raising funds for breast cancer research by competing in the longest non-stop kayak river race. Her employer, Absorbent, Ink.(http://www.absorbentprinting.com), is sponsoring her.Glauner will compete in the 2nd Annual Missouri River 340 as a soloist on July 24-28, 2007. Last year she placed second in the race. Inspired by her grandmother’s battle with breast cancer, she is raising money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City.
