COMPLETE LANDSCULPTURE SEEING GREEN, REACHES $100M IN SALES

DALLAS (July 2007) – Complete Landsculpture, one of the state’s largest full-service landscaping firms serving commercial and high-end residential clients in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Oklahoma City and surrounding areas, announced today it has reached a $100 million sales mark and sees growth in the outdoor living industry spurring business growth in 2007. “Americans are bringing the indoors outside,” said Complete Landsculpture founder and president, Chris Strempek. “Be it outdoor kitchens or even a media center, our success has been defined by a determination to stay ahead of national trends, coupled with high-service levels that exceed customer expectations.”
The landscaping industry is a strong force in the U.S. economy. A 2002 Harris Interactive report found that the nation spends $28.9 billion on landscaping. Americans spend $9 billion alone on gardening products. Additionally, research has found that the top three major demographics among people interested in garden development are affluence, middle age and homeownership, and that nearly half of U.S. spending on landscaping is derived from households with incomes of more than $70,000.
Emerging trends among homeowners and corporations alike include eco-friendly or “green” landscaping options, which Complete Landsculpture has actively pursued. The company recently completed a large-scale commercial LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) project in partnership with Turner Construction that met or exceeded the U.S. Green Building Council’s landscaping ratings by incorporating xeriscape landscaping, and innovative rain recycling irrigation systems.
Other popular trends include outdoor kitchens and fireplaces, landscape lighting and tree illumination, water features, custom pool design, intricate masonry–all of which Complete Landsculpture provides to customers by working with one contractor throughout the entire project.
“Overall, the landscaping industry is growing at a rapid rate, which can be attributed to increased interest in home life and home improvement projects, an increased amount of baby boomers with more money than time, and a focus on environmentally friendly choices available for residential and commercial property owners,” said Gene Freeman, vice president of Complete Landsculpture.
In addition, Complete Landsculpture recently broke ground on its new headquarters that will span some 20,000 square feet of office space when complete, and accommodate several hundred employees. At the center of its campus is a lake that will soon be surrounded by custom garden creations, including outdoor living spaces, sports courts, swimming pools and arbors.
“Our new headquarters is a tribute to our growth and our nearly 25-year history in the Dallas area, and it will showcase our legacy of award-winning work for customers,” said Strempek.
