City of Industry, CA (May 2005) – Broadax Systems Inc. has introduced a new model into its lineup of Notebook Computers. This notebook is packed with leading-edge features found only in desktops. The NP-9880, hands down, offers greater flexibility beyond other Notebooks. The NP-9880 features an LGA775 Socket T Intel P4 with hyper threading technology. Also dual channel DDR2 memory maximizes bandwidth throughput. The NP-9880 has many purposes, whether it is for multimedia, gaming or for a DJ, the next generation PCI-Express Graphic module and front audio DJ deliver impeccable control and flexibility.The NP-9880 is equipped with a 17” WUXGA Active Matrix LCD Display, 512 MB PC4200 DDR2 Memory (upgradeable to over 2GB) and a 40GB Hard Drive. Also standard is an 8X DVD / CD-RW Combo Drive which is upgradeable to a DVD-RW. Integrated is a 16X NVIDIA Geforce GO 256MB DDR graphic adapter10/100/1000Mbps LAN and V.90 Fax Modem. The NP-9880 includes a CMOS Video Camera and a 7-in-1 Card Reader. The I/O ports that the NP-9880 offers are 1 serial, 1 parallel, 1 PS/2, 1 S-Video out/in, RJ-45 and RJ-11. This Notebook comes installed with Windows XP Home Edition but can be upgraded to Windows XP Professional or Windows 2000 Professional. Also included is a sturdy carrying bag and a Auto switch 110/220V AC adapter. The NP-9880 is back by our limited warranty which is one year parts and labor, 2 or 3 year extended warranty is available.
