ABC Office Announces The Addition Of New Typewriters For The 21st Century.

KAYSVILLE, Utah, July 17 – This month ABC Office added a new product line to its Web site. This new product line is a series of typewriters from the popular manufacturer Royal. Although typewriters may seem a little archaic to modern standards, many businesses and people still use typewriters to fill forms, documentation and write reports. To help facilitate this continuing need, ABC Office has added a total of six new typewriters (http://www.abcoffice.com/typewriters.htm?NL).For many, typewriters bring up memories of nostalgic, pre-computer times. This also brings up unpleasant memories of re-typing misspelled documents, pecking away at uncomfortable keys and trying to center documents. Typewriters were supposed to be a thing of the past. It may be forgotten that computers were supposed to rush in the era of a paperless society where typewriters weren’t needed. To the surprise of many, we are still using paper, and for many, still using typewriters.
Using a typewriter, however, should not be considered old fashioned and archaic. Typewriters of the 21st century are surprisingly modern and in many senses are computers with typewriter characteristics. Many of the new Royal typewriters ABC Office now sells have built-in spell checkers, LCD screens, memory and computer processors.
These new typewriter capabilities and functions eliminate errors and save a lot of time for those who still need a typewriter. Many schools, lawyers’ offices, government entities and businesses still use typewriters. Royal typewriters are helping facilitate these organizations. An LCD allows many of these typewriters to store typed text for later typing. At 22 characters a second, many of these typewriters print faster than many modern-day printers.
