Cipher Launches Pharmaceutical Intelligence Conference Manager

Crofton, MD – Major medical conferences have grown immensely, both in presentation tracks and poster sessions. "Best in class" firms are taking a proactive approach to ensure they coordinate schedules to maximize the knowledge extracted from these events. To assist with these efforts, Cipher Systems, North America’s largest full service Competitive Intelligence (CI) consultancy, announced today that it has expanded its award-winning software Knowledge.Works with a new module – a Pharmaceutical Conference Manager. The module’s workflow is designed to enable an organization’s CI department to better manage, track and store important information gained from conference attendance. The new solution provides the ability to quickly create teams, and assign specific roles and intelligence-gathering tasks before a conference.

The system allows users to generate a detailed CI Conference Plan and includes the ability to manage a variety of events such as scientific meetings, conferences and trade shows. It also provides the user with an electronic calendar, Key Intelligence Topic/Key Intelligence Question manager, event scheduling (includes viewing, printing and notification functionalities), and the ability to email electronic links to internal and external customers and contributors. Finally, the system creates an attendee-specific logon, accessible through the user’s email system, for ease of access and entry of information.

Available originally as part of Cipher’s enterprise competitive intelligence solution, Knowledge.Works, the module can also be implemented on a stand-alone basis.
