Alternative Energy Store Announces Three New Sales Team Members

DATELINE: AMHERST; HUDSON; PEPPERELL AND SPRINGFIELD, MA: Online retailer, the Alternative Energy Store, with headquarters in Hudson, Mass., recently announced three new members have joined the sales team. The Alternative Energy Store is providers of cost competitive, high-quality renewable energy products.Kerry Armour, a resident of Pepperell, has been appointed as a Sales Representative. Prior to joining the Alternative Energy Store, Ms. Armour spent 15 years working in marketing in the biotech industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and has also worked as a biochemist conducting bench research. In giving back to the community, Ms. Armour has served as a mentor for high school students in the Pepperell area.
Hudson resident Benjamin Gorman also joins the Alternative Energy Store as a Sales Representative. Mr. Gorman had previously worked at EV Solar of Arizona, where he catered to clients from the Prescott to Grand Canyon area, installing solar power systems and solar hot water systems. Previous to that, Mr. Gorman was a stage actor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has received additional training in renewable energy systems from James Cormican, Sales Engineer at the Alternative Energy Store. Mr. Gorman is a member of the Hudson Area Climate Action Network (HACAN), a group with the goal of reducing global warming contributions made by businesses. He is a native of Cleveland, OH.
Gene Patenaude, an Amherst resident and Springfield, Mass. native, has joined the Alternative Energy Store as Outside Regional Sales and Marketing Manager for Western Mass. He will be responsible for developing and overseeing the company’s installation division in the western part of the state. Before joining the Alternative Energy Store, Mr. Patenaude was a General Contractor for 24 years building new homes in Mass. For 12 years previous to that, he was a realtor. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts. Mr. Patenaude has been volunteering as a Big Brother for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization for the past four years and frequently speaks to recruit men to join the organization.
“We’ve been growing at a phenomenal rate and in the near future will almost double our sales team. Kerry, Ben and Gene all have tremendous sales skills and they are dedicated to increasing the awareness of renewable energy and educating consumers and businesses,” noted Sascha Deri, president of the Alternative Energy Store.
