"SACRED" CD Release Party at The Bowery Poetry Club Wednesday, July 25th

Brooklyn-based performance poet Tantra celebrates the release of her eagerly-awaited new CD, SACRED at the Bowery Poetry Club Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00pm.

SACRED, the new CD by spoken word performance poet Tantra, featuring the music of Michael Cox, elevates spoken word to a new level. The messages of SACRED are about love, sexuality, consciousness and social issues.

As described by Def Poetry Jam Co-Creator Bruce George, "Tantra's words have the uncanny ability to do balancing acts between sensuality and sexuality! Her "Poetry" softens spirits, and heals hearts! Her passion is infectious!”
