(Phoenix, AZ)—-We’ve all heard the saying ‘third time’s the charm.’ Apparently, Mark Loberg, founder and CEO of PremierGarage, has not: he was recognized as one of Ernst & Young’s regional winners of an Entrepreneur Of The Year award on only his second try.The 21st annual ceremony, which took place June 19th before over 600 guests at the Hyatt Regency Irvine, awards entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Loberg was honored in the business services category after making it to the finals the previous year.
“It was really a thrill to win – very unexpected but very fulfilling at the same time,” said Loberg. “Lots of prestigious businesspeople have won this award in the past and I am honored to be in such great company.”
Orange County award recipients are eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 national program. Award recipients in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 17, 2007. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the worldwide event held in Monte Carlo.
“For 21 years, Ernst & Young has recognized outstanding entrepreneurship through our Entrepreneur Of The Year program,” said Kurt Binder, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year program director for Orange County. “This year’s award recipients are truly an inspiration to all. We salute them for their drive, determination and hard work – and congratulate them on their success.”
