(Louisville, KY)—-When Jania Bailey was named FranNet’s president and COO last August, she was ecstatic for several reasons. Not only was her new position an upward move professionally, but it kept her close to home. Born and raised in Paducah, Bailey has strong ties to the region from both business and personal standpoints – so much so that FranNet relocated its headquarters to Louisville from Carlsbad, California last month.
“I’ve been a Louisville resident for the past 19 years and it’s such an amazing city. I think FranNet moving its headquarters here will benefit everyone involved,” said Bailey, 48. “Having the office located within the east coast time zone is extremely valuable for our business operations and the office itself is quite nice.”
In addition to their new locale, FranNet has also updated its staff. Heather Gough will assume the role of marketing and communications manager while Todd Bingham enters the newly-created position of IT director. After several extensive rounds of interviews, Bailey felt Gough and Bingham, both 29, were the perfect fits for their respective posts.
“Both Todd and Heather bring a lot to their respective positions, as both specialize in areas that have evolved quickly. Heather has depth in the online marketing arena, an avenue we are exploring more and more. She’s a high-energy, goal-oriented young lady who we’re hoping will take our marketing efforts to a whole new level,” said Bailey. “We created the position for Todd because as a company, we’ve become much more IT dependent and outsourcing such a large part of our business like we had in the past just wasn’t going to work. Todd will help us navigate the hurdles in the ever-changing technology landscape and grow this part of our company further.”
With more than 80 associates in the U.S. and Canada and offices in six foreign countries, FranNet provides no-cost guidance, information and support to individuals who are interested in purchasing a franchised business. FranNet is the only company in its industry whose consultants are market-specific, meaning they are focused on serving customers in their local market. Meetings with clients face-to-face are preferred but FranNet consultants also advise clients via the phone and Internet. FranNet also hosts numerous informational seminars and educational programs that are open to the public each month throughout the country and online.
