Chicago, IL —July 2007— A new online magazine has launched that promises to offer articles and information about the growing Chicago Minor League sports scene. While some forums and blogs focus just on one sport, this magazine promises to offer coverage and information about all the sports such as baseball, hockey, football and basketball. The online magazine is known as the Chicago Minor League Review and can be found at www.chicagominorleaguereview.com.

“The whole minor league scene is really growing in this area,” says Editor-in-Chief, Bryan W. Alaspa. “There are about a half-dozen minor league baseball teams in the area alone. Then there are the hockey teams and, yes, even a minor league football team.

The online magazine promises to grow along with the teams and the minor leagues in the area. In addition to covering the day-to-day games of the various teams, the site will also offer valuable articles that provide information and answer common questions that come with people interested in minor league sports.

“The minor league teams are a better bang for the buck,” said Alaspa. “You can park for free and the tickets are so much less than an equal ticket at a major league venue. So, for a family, the best bang for the buck is really the minor league teams in the area. Plus, these teams actually win fairly consistently.”

The site launched this month. It has provided a number of articles already that answer the fundamental questions some interested in the minor league teams may have. It has recently started to post day-to-day posts and game wraps.
