John will be responsible for systems installation for both the MonitorClosely.com – Tulsa and MonitorClosely.com – Oklahoma City, North franchises.
Alisa Hiner, Oklahoma City-North: Alisa graduated in 2002 with a B.A. in Speech from Oklahoma State University. Over the last year, Alisa has been working part-time in sales for Integrity, a sound and lighting company for concerts, major tours and corporate events. Alisa will be heading up the sales and marketing effort for both the MonitorClosely.com – Tulsa and MonitorClosely.com – Oklahoma City, North franchises.
Rich & Debra Read, Tulsa: John has a strong technical background obtained through working in electronics since 1968. Through the years John has specialized in telephone switching equipment, medical x-ray technology, and marine and land based geographical services. For the past 28 years he has been involved with direct customer support for many of the major computer data centers in Oklahoma including, Leds-AA, Blue Cross, Williams Brothers, Verizon, Wal-Mart, Kimberly Clark, and Sun Micro Systems. Debra will be providing support with the accounting and administrative functions for their MonitorClosely.com location.
Edwin Tom, Dallas – South: Edwin has a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Management. He has spent over 20 years with Texas Instruments Inc., holding various positions in equipment engineering, process engineering, and manufacturing management. Texas Instruments builds semiconductor circuits and has developed automated manufacturing equipment using digital camera technology. This technology is what sparked Edwin’s interest in MonitorClosely.com. Edwin was involved in working on digital light processing chips (DLP) used in digital TVs and projectors. He spent 2 years as a real estate investor before joining MonitorClosely.com.
Dave Burns, Fairfield County, VA: Dave earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Connecticut. Dave was a stock broker in the early 90’s until deciding to become an entrepreneur. He founded his own highly successful company and for the last 27 years has been the owner of August West Chimney Sweeps, a multi-truck chimney maintenance and restoration company based in Fairfield County, CT. His drive and determination will contribute greatly to his future success with the first MonitorClosely.com franchise location in the state of Connecticut.
Melissa Spearman, Greenville, SC: Melissa has been in construction sales for the past 5 years and is a member of Women in Construction, IFMA (International Facilities Management Association), BOMA (Business Office Management Association), AIA (American Institute Architects), and IIDA (International Interior Designer Association). She along with husband Sonny are anxious to launch their new MonitorClosely.com franchise.
Gladys Wheeler, Anchorage: Gladys has worked as a Procurement Clerk, Contract Administrator and most recently a Contract specialist for HIS, Alaska Area Native Health SVCS. Gladys will be providing support with the accounting and administrative functions for MonitorClosely.com -Anchorage.
Kenneth Banks, Northern Virginia: Kenneth obtained his Bachelors of Science from Virginia Common Wealth University and has over 20 years experience in the Information Technology field. Ken is currently a network specialist for the public school system and has worked for several defense contractors. His strong technical background will be extremely helpful with his new endeavor.
Ted Banks, Northern Virginia: Ted served in U.S Army and has worked as a Journeyman Electrician for the last 18 years with I.B.E.W local 26 Washington D.C. He will be responsible for systems installation while working with his partner and brother, Kenneth.
Garrett Daley, South Central, PA: Garrett currently is a Cutco Sales Representative. He will be working on sales for the MonitorClosely.com – South Central, PA.
Terry Daley, South Central, PA: Terry is a 25-year veteran of 3M Company. In 1976 he started selling office equipment and after six years transferred to Packaging Systems Division. By his 4th year he was managing distribution and sales for the entire mid-Atlantic group. Terry won top spot in sales 23 out of 25 years. Terry has managed over 110 sales representatives and holds 4 titles in Packaging Design. Terry is a graduate of James Madison University with a major in U.S. Military History, minor in Crime & Social. Terry was a member of the only undefeated football team EWDS and a Kodak all-American offensive player in 1976. Terry’s wife, Kim has a Masters in Early Childhood. Together they have two sons, Trent and Garrett. After retirement from 3M Company, Terry purchased a Lee Miles Franchise, a transmission repair facility, which generates over 1 million in annual sales.
Sonny Spearman, Greenville, SC: Sonny has worked in the Automotive Industry for 13 years as a Quality Engineer. Spending 10 years at BMW Manufacturing and 3 years at an automotive supplier, working to implement and improve quality systems. He is looking forward to his first entry into entrepreneurship and has demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment.
Tim Wheeler, Anchorage: Served the United States Army in Tactical Microwave Telecommunications. After which he went to work for a contract company marinating all voice and data communications for the Alaska Radar Defense Sites in Alaska. Additionally, Tim has worked for World Com in Los Angeles as a Sonet Test Engineer and a switch Technician and a Voice and Data Field Installer for Local ILEC.
