Tees For Change selects The Race Against Global Warming as a “Partner for Change”

Boulder, CO – July 4, 2007 – Tees for Change (www.teesforchange.com), a T-shirt company that focuses on the power of positive thinking, has selected The Race Against Global Warming as a “Partner for Change.” Each quarter Tees For Change donates a portion of its sales to non-profit groups. Previously, the company partnered with Global ReLeaf, an education and action program that helps individuals, organizations, agencies, and corporations improve the local and global environment by planting and caring for trees. To date, Tees For Change customers helped plant 137 trees through its partnership with Global ReLeaf.

Tees For Change launched its first positive message t-shirt line in Spring 2007. With phrases such as “choose happiness,” “stay balanced,” “be courageous,” and “stay strong,” the shirts became an instant hit and sold out in less than two months. Women of all ages are now wearing the shirts as a reminder to think positively. “There’s nothing you can’t do, have, or become. Our shirts help women to stay strong, balanced and be courageous in their quest for a happy life.” says Andreea Ayers, the company’s founder. “We want to evoke change on both the personal and global level. That is why each quarter we select a non-profit organization as our Partner for Change. This quarter we have selected Race Against Global Warming because of their dedication to raising awareness about global warming, which affects all of us on every level,” Andreea added.

The Race Against Global Warming is a 5K foot race and non-competitive run, walk or stroll to be held in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA on September 29th, 2007. The Climate Solutions Awareness Event, immediately following the race, includes live music, expert and celebrity key note speakers and information designed to demonstrate ways we can win the race against global warming all year long.
