McMann and Tate Launches Text Message Marketing Service

Perrysburg, Ohio June 29, 2007 – McMann & Tate Advertising, a provider of Internet marketing solutions, today announced the launch of McMann & Tate Mobile (MTM), a text message advertising service that allows any business to instantly set up two-way interactive mobile marketing campaigns online. MTM puts the capabilities of the full service mobile marketing agency in the hands of the small to mid-sized business. Business owners simply choose a KEYWORD that identifies their company or campaign. MTM configures the campaign—customers, and prospects send a text message with the keyword to a short code—the incoming text message with the sender's mobile number is stored in a database for future mobile marketing campaigns, and the sender receives the response chosen.
MTM is not a bulk text message sending service. The spam-free service ensures that the mobile phone owner has opted-in. To be put on a list, the mobile phone must send a text message with the business' keyword to the short code. Customers are encouraged to opt-in through the use of txt2win contests, voting, coupons, and specials, or by providing information via text message.
For example, a restaurant can easily set up a contest to give away a free entrée in just a few minutes. They can then send a text message to their list when they are having a slow night, offering a coupon or special good for that evening only.
"The possibilities are endless," says Betsey Duggan CEO of McMann & Tate. "We give the same text message abilities to business owners that American Idol has. We give a local restaurant the same abilities to reach the consumer as Starbucks at a fraction of the cost."
Duggan added that the response to the new offering has been “incredibly strong with a lot of business owners recognizing the power and speed of this advertising system.”
MTM is a two-way interactive mobile marketing system that can be set up quickly at a low cost. There are no contracts, and the service is billed on a month to month basis.
