Avocent Appoints Apara Enterprise Solutions as Premier Partner in India

Avocent® Corporation (Nasdaq: AVCT), US$524 million leading provider of IT infrastructure management solutions is betting on fast growing market in India. The enterprise solution company, a world leader in this space, has appointed Apara Enterprise Solutions as an Avocent Premier Partner for India to sell & support its’ hardware and software offerings. The solution includes LANDesk Server Manager Software, whose integration into Avocent’s flagship DSView® 3 management software was also announced today.

LANDesk Server Manager Software allows IT administrators and managers to standardize the way servers are deployed and maintained in their data centers, remote branch offices and disaster recovery sites. The software product combination provides complete in-band and out-of-band management for “always on” server management, helping IT administrators and managers ensure optimal server and data center performance and availability. Avocent hardware, managed by DSView 3 software, now available through Apara includes KVM switches, serial console managers, power management devices, and service processor managers.
