NEW WEBSITE RAMS ITS WAY TO THE TOP OF GOOGLE

VISUALLY appealing, crisp, clean and helpful are some of the many comments made about the new RAM vehicle tracking company website, which can be found at www.remoteassetmanagement.co.uk.

Following a period of substantial growth, remoteassetmanagement.co.uk has undergone a make-over to incorporate many new features that brings it’s content completely up to date and has been heavily optimised for web searching systems, like Google.

“The last 12 months have been amazing,” said Martin Davies, Managing Director at remoteassetmanagement.co.uk. “Our company growth has been unprecedented with hundreds of fleet businesses across the UK realising the many benefits of a RAM tracking system. But one thing became clear during this time – our website hadn’t reflected our growing business. It became a priority to change that!”

Most companies simply enlist a web designer to build a new site, but RAM went one step further and sent a questionnaire out to a cross section of its customers asking them what features they’d find most helpful. The results were clear. More case studies, downloadable demos, standardised business documents for employee manuals and a simple interface all topped the lists.

“We made sure our customer’s comments were implemented, but I became conscious that no one in the telematics sector was really providing buyers with unbiased information on ‘what to avoid when buying a tracking system’. I began to compile some basic facts that would apply to the sector and eventually had a list of 13! This list is available at the following URL http://www.vehicletrackingsystemsinfo.org/. We’ve received quite a bit of praise from uncertain and wary fleet managers since posting this,” commented Davies.

Since the new website was uploaded late last week, the company has seen unique hits increase by almost 35% and it’s search engine listing puts it very near the top on almost all vehicle tracking and telematics related enquiries.

Notes to the Editors

Remoteassetmanagement.co.uk - was formed in 2004 with the single aim of simplifying the offerings of a telematics solution, for a mass-market appeal. With many years experience between them, the team built a web-based system that many have described as ‘incredibly simple yet highly effective’. Quality of service is important to RAM, who specify that all system upgrades are delivered completely free of charge to all customers. With so many factors pushing fleet costs up, RAM’s solution has helped reduce outgoings whilst increasing productivity and has been proven successful time and time again across a multitude of fleets of varying sizes.
