SPATE magazine visits Istandard Producers and the Beast of The Beats battle

T-NY was the host to iStandard producers Beast of the beats producer competition. www.Istandardproducers.com has helped many producers and artists to get signed to major labels and secure production credits. The founders J Hatch and Don Di Napoli are very smart and articulate men and they run their companies with high professionalism. The producers got a chance to be critiqued by some of the most prominent producers in the business such as Just Blaze who has carved out hits for the likes of Jay Z and many others. The producers get a chance to play 3 tracks and then sit back as they are demolished by the celebrity judges. "I didn't hear anything that was different about your music" says Just Blaze to an up and coming producer. Some producers got praise but it didn't happen a lot. Most was criticized for their lack of changes and creativity when it came to samples. The show was a lot of fun especially when you have an 84 year old women in the crowd and says she is hear because she loves music. That's crazy!
