Jewelry lovers gear up for Bangkok International Gems & Jewelry Fair

Bangkok - June 26, 2007 - For the first time ever, the Bangkok International Gems & Jewelry Fair will be open to members of the public for all five days of the show from Wednesday, July 4 to Sunday, July 8 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The show’s special Cash & Carry format will allow members of the public to buy jewelry at factory prices; a golden chance to get the latest designs and quality jewels directly from the manufacturers – exporters themselves.

On show will be a vast variety of exhibits including gold and silver jewelry, diamonds, precious and semi precious stones, pearls, fashion jewelry, cubic zirconia and lab created gems as well as machinery and tools, equipment and supplies, and other gem and jewelry related goods and services.
The Bangkok International Gems & Jewelry Fair is co-organized by the Department of Industrial Promotion (DIP) of the Ministry of Industry and is sponsored by all the major gem and jewelry associations in Thailand including the
Thai Gem & Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), The Thai Diamond Manufacturers Association (TDMA), the Thai Gem & Jewelry Manufacturers Association (TGJMA), the Chanthaburi Gem & Jewelry Association (CGA), the Gem & Jewelry Institute of Thailand and Gemopolis among others.

The Bangkok International Gems & Jewelry Fair will run from July 4-8 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Exhibition hours are 10.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. Entry is absoultely free. The event is supported by Thaindian.com.
