Are you in a relationship and just don’t seem to be getting the satisfaction you want from your partner? Do you sometimes feel like figuring out your partner is impossible? Are you someone who isn’t currently in a relationship but still would like to develop a better understanding of relationship issues and concerns? Perhaps you are the person all your friends turn to for relationship advice and you would like to be more helpful? If any of these scenarios describes you, then you will receive high value and significant benefit from attending this workshop. A new business and member of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Coaching for Excellence, is offering a new and innovative relationship workshop in Chicago from July 8-10, 2005. This workshop could potentially change your life! Sylvester Baugh and Kim Olver will host the relationship conference. Both of them are certified instructors of Choice Theory, a new psychology of personal freedom upon which this program is based. Mr. Baugh has an extensive background and over 20 years of experience in training and communication, while Ms. Olver is a licensed professional counselor and relationship coach, with over 20 years of experience in helping people relate better both personally and professionally. They are both committed to helping people understand one another better and eliminating the need for coercion in relationships. You know about coercion—-those behaviors your partners engage in to get you to do the things you don’t want to do. Your partner has his or her particular external control pattern, just as you do. External control is one of the things that is destroying our intimate relationships. You will learn ways to stop the bleeding.
There are inherent differences between men and women that few people understand and in this workshop you will learn ways to leverage the energy you already put into your relationship to its maximum benefit.
This workshop will be different from typical relationship workshops in that you will not spend the majority of your time together. Its focus will be more educational than therapeutic. We will discuss such controversial relationship topics as views on parenting, finances, free time and how it’s spent—-together or apart, jealousy/trust, extended family & friends and their impact on your relationship and the biggie—-SEX and romance.
Friday evening from 8 PM to 10 PM, there will be a social gathering where you will get to meet other people like you who are seeking a greater understanding of the mystery of relationships.
Then on Saturday morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, Kim will work with the women on female issues, while Sylvester will work with the men on male issues. Then, in the afternoon from 1 PM to 4 PM, the men will get to question Kim regarding female issues; while Sylvester will be available to the women regarding male issues. Saturday evening will be yours to enjoy as you wish.
Sunday from 9 AM to 1 PM, the men and women will come together to discuss what they’ve learned. Strategies will be developed to improve the quality of your relationships and we will discuss ways to manage disagreement in your relationship so that both of you can emerge as winners.
Please don’t miss this incredibly informative and life changing conference. With over 50% of marriages ending in divorce and many other couple relationships not lasting, this is a minor investment in your commitment to each other. You can come with your partner or solo—-the choice is yours.
