June 25, 2007: CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Sound Room has recently been named one of the country’s top 100 home electronics integrators by CE Pro Magazine. The company is the only one in the St. Louis market to be named to the list.

CE Pro magazine ranked the top home integration companies based on revenue, and The Sound Room is No. 31, up from its spot at 60 last year. The magazine is a leading trade publication for the custom electronics business.

CE Pro reported total revenue of the Top 100 is down slightly from last year, likely due to the softening new home market.

The Sound Room’s revenue is up, which Young attributes to home automation and networking projects. He also says working with luxury and custom builders has left the company unaffected by a softening new home market. The company is currently working on several projects with seven-figure budgets for home technology and automation.
