National Fire Sprinkler Association Appoints Kleinheinz and Bowman as Regional Managers

Patterson, N.Y. (June 22, 2007) – The National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), the longest-tenured fire sprinkler advocacy organization in the U.S., has announced the appointments of Bob Kleinheinz and David Bowman as Regional Managers, responsible for providing member services and training and support to their geographic regions. Mr. Kleinheinz will oversee the newly formed Illinois region and Mr. Bowman will be responsible for the Florida region.

Mr. Kleinheinz has nearly 25 years of fire service experience. Most recently, he was Assistant Chief in charge of the Fire Prevention Bureau of the Libertyville, Ill., Fire Department. Mr. Kleinheinz holds an Associate Degree in Fire Science from the College of Lake County and has been active in the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition.

Mr. Bowman brings more than 35 years of fire protection experience to the Florida region after serving as NFSA’s Great Plains Regional Manager. Prior to his affiliation with NFSA he served as Mitigation Team Leader for FEMA, working in various locations in Mississippi in response to Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Bowman also served as the Chief of Explosives and Pyrotechnics at the Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office. Mr. Bowman holds several degrees including a Ph.D. in Fire Safety Management.
