Livingston & Haven Honored with Progressive Manufacturer of the Year 2007

Charlotte, NC - Livingston & Haven, an industrial technology provider, was honored with the Progressive Manufacturer of the Year 2007 award given by Managing Automation, a leading manufacturing publication. Livingston & Haven received the award at the third annual Managing Automation Progressive Manufacturing Summit and awards ceremony held in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 14, 2007.

The Progressive Manufacturing Awards program recognizes companies that have achieved distinction in at least one of the eight core disciplines defined by Managing Automation as critical to business success in the years ahead. A panel of eight distinguished judges evaluated Progressive Manufacturing nominations, identifying 50 that have demonstrated mastery in one or more of the disciplines. From the Progressive Manufacturing 50 the judges selected one high achiever in each discipline and one overall winner. Livingston & Haven received the highest honor as the overall Progressive Manufacturer of the Year.

Livingston & Haven received this award for their multi-year project, “Driving Efficiency”, which began in 2003 when CEO, Clif Vann III, challenged each associate with “doing whatever it takes to ensure the long-term health of U.S. manufacturing.” As a result, Livingston & Haven began to redefine its business in order to become a unique and essential partner for U.S. manufacturing. The company focused on expanding its expertise in a variety of engineering disciplines, driving efficiencies in the supply chain and providing scaleable future proof solutions from the plant floor to the top floor.
