Jeff Greenblatt has just released his first book, Breakthrough Strategies for Predicting Any Market, through publisher Marketplace Books. Dawn Bolton-Smith, a well-known technician from Australia, provides the foreword. Greenblatt’s methodology explains how charting the time element can improve upon Elliott Wave, candlesticks, moving averages, volume studies, cup and handle patterns, Fibonacci calculations, and other existing technical strategies to profit from the market.Greenblatt’s method is a high-probability pattern recognition system, which attempts to help traders recognize and profit from the influence the Lucas Series has on all the markets in all degrees of trend. The Lucas Series, invented by French mathematician Edouard Lucas, is a sequence of integers very similar to the Fibonacci numbers; however, while the Fibonacci numbers start with 0 and 1, the Lucas Series begins with 2 and 1, in that order.
Greenblatt also bases his system on the methods of legendary trader WD Gann. Born in 1878, Gann had an extremely lucrative career in trading and forecasting, which spanned five decades. During this time, he had an exceptional accuracy rate in forecasting and wrote Truth of the Stock Tape, considered by many to be the best book on chart reading ever published.
In Breakthrough Strategies for Predicting Any Market, Greenblatt includes detailed case studies and charts that aim to enlighten investors on the inner workings of the market. Jeff Greenblatt has been a private trader for the past eight years, and is a regular contributor to Futuresmag.com and Futures magazine as well as the editor of The Fibonacci Forecaster newsletter. ###
