Rapper Turns Director

Starting out as a ”Dapper Rapper” during the first bling-bling era of Gucci, Fendi and other designer names coming to the forefront, Gucci Man was in the company of fellow rappers Slick Rick, Dana Dane and Heavy D among others. After a hit single on legendary Fever Records, a national tour and no video, Gucci Man hooked up with a team of producers that contributed to the success of Black Moon, Mobb Deep, Onyx, Public Enemy and Busta Rhymes Flipmode Squad.

After achieving success and some platinum sales later, Gucci Man went to film school where he learned Producing and Directing, shooting critically acclaimed music videos and award-winning documentaries.

Not standing still and still possessing a creative mind, Gucci Man has created a team of people offering services for the newest up and coming rappers and singers to the most seasoned entertainment industry veteran. Through Labelmates Consulting and Threat Marketing and Management, most artists as well as industry professionals can find the answers to an assortment of artist, producer, manager and record label issues quickly and discreetly.
