On the May 12 episode of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the popular comedian Larry the Cable Guy proudly wore a camouflage “Support Our Troops” wristband from the Bands For Freedom Foundation.Larry joins other popular country personalities such as Charlie Daniels, Toby Keith, Mark Wills and Darryl Worley in support of the U.S. troops via the Armed Forces Relief Trust (AFRT). His country bumpkin, hee-haw, blue-collar humor and accent have set Larry the Cable Guy apart as a must-see performer in venues around the nation. He has single-handedly popularized the phrase “Git-R-Done,” and has entertained countless fans with his redneck antics on his latest CD “The Right To Bare Arms.” Larry stars alongside Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall on the WB’s popular comedy, “Blue Collar TV” which can be seen on Thursday nights.
