Association For Coaching In Ireland Launches With Masterclass

The Association for Coaching in Ireland, a new professional association to promote ethics and excellence in coaching will be launched this month with events in Dublin and Belfast. Both launch events will incorporate a master class by Katherine Tulpa, a contributing author to the Association for Coaching’s new book “Excellence in Coaching, the industry guide".

The Association of Coaching in Ireland will be part of the Association for Coaching (AC) a non-profit, independent
professional body established in London in 2002.

The Association for Coaching provides a range of support and resources for its members including books, workshops, conferences, and networking opportunities.

"Our objective is to create an active coaching association in Ireland and to provide opportunities for continuous
professional development and promote best practice." said Krishna De, one of the founders of the Association for Coaching in Ireland. "We aim to make the Association for Coaching in Ireland a centre of excellence, which attracts individuals from all coaching disciplines whether operating privately or within organisations, HR practitioners and those responsible for implementing and managing coaching programmes as well as academics working in a coaching related field" she commented.

Already the Association for Coaching in Ireland has a strong calendar of events for the coming months and is planning workshops conducted by world experts in coaching including David Clutterbuck, Myles Downey, Peter Hawkins and Sir John Whitmore.

The launch event for the Republic of Ireland takes place at the Europa Academy,Balheary, Swords, Co. Dublin on Tuesday 19 June 2007 at 6pm. The Northern Ireland launch takes place in Belfast on the 20 June 2007 at 8.30 am at the BBC, Studio 1,Broadcasting House, Ormeau Avenue.
